The King Baboon is an impressive spider that lives deep in termite mounds in the wild. They spend most of the day in their burrows but will readily charge with fangs extended to meet any intruders. An angry King Baboon is an impressive sight. They need deep substrate or an artificial burrow to thrive in captivity. Even though they are from an arid environment the humidity in their burrows can be much higher than the ambient conditions.
