Acanthoscurria geniculata

Temperment: nervous, non-aggressive
Habitat: terrestrial, burrowing, tropical
Care: intermediate keepers
This spider can achieve an 8"+ leg span. They are quick and somewhat jumpy but usually are not aggressive. They are an attractive species with creamy bands that appear almost pinkish right after a moult. Giant White Knees are fairly tolerant with temperature and humidity but should have a low water dish available at all time, as they will drink from it.
